 I mean Hot Fuzz’s tagline feels like an extension of Edgar Wright’s intelligent parody masterpiece. It’s such an awesome word play on the The Acclaimed have arrived hand shirt and by the same token and classic Fargo tagline. Few films manage to capture that feeling of time being as essential as 1917. If you think about it, the main antagonist of the film is time, and as the movie progress that enemy becomes more and more menacing. Chills is what you get from Dawn of the Dead’s tagline. It just captures such a somber and sinister feeling that not only talks about zombies but about us. I mean how can adventure be as epic as one that has been in production for 65 million years, ok jokes asides, Jurassic Park’s tagline is epic. 8. 28 Days Later – Day 1: Exposure – Day 3: Infection – Day 8: Epidemic – Day 15: Evacuation – Day 20: Devastation (Bonus: The Days are Numbered) This particular one plays excellently with the title as it gives us a little peek of the story and then some more. It hooks you to know what happened 28 Days Later… So there you have it! A small list of some of my favorite movie taglines, there’re more but this answer would be extremely long haha. Not really sure which University it was off, but we were discussing t-shirt slogans for a design contest at NIT, when the following caption, probably from IIT Bombay (edit : It is from IIT Madras) came up, not really sure of the college though.
